Building and Testing

The track will be assembled in the gym on 4/6 and 4/20  for anyone that would like to make a test run on the track after the meetings wrap up. Please let Brad Hatchett, Jeff Gamblin or Matt Vitart know if you need assistance cutting out the body of your car. There are a few men in troop 1031 with bandsaws that would be happy to help.

Kit Purchase, RSVP, and Registration

In order to participate in the race, you must purchase a kit through Troop MS-1031. This ensures that all racers are using the same stock materials. To purchase a kit, click the CheddarUp link below. This link will also serve as an RSVP to the event so that we can get a headcount for food. You can purchase more than one car per Trailman, if you wish to have a test vehicle, but only one car per Trailman can be registered for the race.

A few weeks prior to the race, you will receive instructions with a link to register your car (name, make, model, etc.). We will also make information available at a later date regarding the race rules, and instructions on building a car.
